Twilight: The Secret Double Probation Version

In my trip across BFE, I saw a ragid movie theater where Scooby Doo would solve a crime for sure.  A line was formed to see this Twilight movie.

I do not support Twilight probably because I am bitter that Hero's, the Unit, and almost every show on Fox has been cancelled (Terminator, Dollhouse, even that show Reunion where an online poll decided who the killer was.... #fail).  If only the world stopped reading and watched some TV, I would still have my "stories."  That and I am not a 13 year old girl.  Well actual adults were lined up outside of the killer movie theater.  Worst yet, no Scooby-Doo although I did see a Shaggy rocking out some "scooby snacks."

Gawker has a recap if you have to see the movie:  http://defamer.gawker.com/5576441/everything-thats-happened-in-the-twilight-movies-so-far

Bella is a snot who has to go live with Dad because Mommy is a tramp. (This part is paraphrased by me)[Dad] gets her this bright red vintage pickup truck and Bella thinks it's really neat and Billy is happy. Bella waves him goodbye and drives off to her first day of school. On the way to school she is killed in a car accident and the book series ends.

This is the point where I stopped reading.  After all, I do love a story with a happy ending!

Unlimited 3G still available on IPad

Dear Apple Store Customer,

Thank you for purchasing iPad Wi-Fi + 3G.

Our records indicate you ordered iPad on or before June 6th, which qualifies you for AT&T's unlimited monthly plan for 3G data.

Because the unlimited monthly plan is not currently available from the on-device activation flow, Apple and AT&T have developed a special process so you can still sign-up for the unlimited plan. If you would like to request the unlimited plan, please do the following:
1. If you have not done so, please connect your iPad Wi-Fi + 3G to iTunes and activate your device.
2. You then need to activate the $25 2GB AT&T 3G DataPro Plan for iPad via Settings > Cellular Data. This is required for AT&T to be able to add the unlimited option to your account.
3. After you have activated the $25 2GB AT&T 3G DataPro Plan for iPad, call AT&T Customer Service at 1-800-331-0500 and an AT&T Customer Service Representative will assist you in activating the Unlimited AT&T 3G Data Plan for iPad.

As part of this process, AT&T and Apple will verify if you are eligible to take advantage of this offer. If you are determined to be ineligible, AT&T reserves the right to either cancel your data service for iPad or move you to a lower priced option. You will be able to activate service again or change your plan to any currently available AT&T 3G Data Plan for iPad at any time.

Please note: If you cancel the Unlimited AT&T 3G Data Plan for iPad or the Plan is not auto-renewed in the future, you will not be able to order the Unlimited Plan again.

You must contact AT&T on or before July 15th.

Sincerely,
The Apple Store Team

iPhone 4g @ the Apple Store

The line started around the corner....

People were excited to reach the front of the store....

Hooray, the inside of the store.

I reserved 2 and ended up walking out with 3!

One of the fun parts of waiting in line was that Apple gave out water bottles.  Nearest bathroom was a good 10 min. walk.

I am a Mac when I thought I was PC

Am I now on team Apple? I thought I was PC the whole time.

I started off with a Treo (Windows. I know, I can hear the shame). When the keys stopped working I wanted the complete opposite so I got the iPhone 3G. My first Apple thing.

I made the mistake of playing with an iPad. Warning: play with one will mean you must have one. Strike 2!

Now that the new iPhone is arriving tomorrow, I will be getting one. Does that mean I am a member of team Apple? I am going to say NO, that is an upgrade.

My home computer is a Dell Mini 9 after all, that makes me a PC... however I do run Snow Leopard on it (first time I ever paid for an OS too).

Strike 3!
