HackMiami Rumor: Immunity ready to rumble?

Local to the Miami area, Immunity Security's product Canvas makes hundreds of exploits ready to be unleashed upon the target machine.

It provides a framework to allow the development of 0-days to be unleashed.  The company also performs QA of exploits in the wild and can demonstrate all exploits included in the product. 

Will Immunity join us on Saturday, June 5th for the Royal Rumble?

Will we see Core Impact vs. Rapid 7's Metasploit Express, vs. Immunity Canvas?

This program is the goliath of the industry.  It will cut through machines like a hot knife through butter.  This tool was the weapon of choice for the team that won South Florida Information Systems Security Association's Hack the Flag/Chili Cook off.

Born from the mind of HD Moore in 2003, this started out as a network game, but grew into so much more.  It is known for releasing some of the most technically sophisticated exploits to the public and is current ranked #5 on sectools.org's list of Top 100 Network Security Tools.  On October 21, 2009, the project merged with Rapid7 to create this commercial instance to deliver a full graphical user interface, automated exploitation capabilities and reporting.

Core Impact vs Rapid7 Metasploit

Core Impact and Rapid7 Metasploit are ridiculously powerful tools that are known for dominating networks and laying ruin to unpatched machines.

We will be joining us as we set up a small lab of vuln boxes, and pit the two leading penetration testing suites against each other to see which will pwn the most efficiently. As always, there will be plenty of hot pizza and cold beer.
